HG/SS might be the best Pokemon games ever made. Takes the expansiveness of the original G/S/C and adds a ton of content where there wasn't any before. The visuals look beautiful and being able to have a Pokemon follow you around is a treat, and its an absolute travesty that this didn't become a staple in every game afterwards.
