Not as bad as people make it out to be. Yes the gameplay loop can get a bit repetitive, but altairs arc is serviceable and I like some of his interactions with Al Mualim and Malik. The twist is good too. They did a good job justifying the animus and making it believable near the beginning of the game. Graphics look really good for 2007.
