For it’s time, one of the smoothest FPS experiences that created the modern FPS control scheme that we have today. The narrative is simple but with some likeable characters. The graphics look dated by todays standards but the lighting and mood that was created is still great to this day. The covenant are serviceable enemies for the story and only become more and more interesting as the Halo series went on. This game is a must play simply for its historical value for the FPS genre.
