Any other day this would be a clear 9.0 game (4.5 star), but despite how excellent the design is, masterful the exploration, and just excellent shooting, I admit I felt under-motivated to really just spend time in this world. Most of that is because I’m vain and petty. The art and name don’t do it for me. Griping aside, this game undeniably punches above its weight and as a game developed by two devs, it does deserve a ton of credit. Hopefully if you read this review, it just sets your expectations so that you’re really primed to fall in love with it.
