there's a lot to say about this one. the gameplay is alright, the lycans are annoying af at some parts of the game and not in a good way, like, not in a "wow this part of the game is so hard! this is so annoying/challenging" but more of in like a "please just leave" way. regardless, there's some really fun parts and i like the shop feature, it's cool. character wise, i feel like there was a lot of wasted potential? ike, there are so many characters that i feel like village could've been two games instead of one, and we could've had more developed characters, i would've liked to see more of people like Donna (to me, her house was the most fun part BY FAR) instead of just playing through her house blindly and finding some stuff about her in the end, really feel like they could've done a lot more with the doll theme and her insecurities etcetc. either way, it's a highly entertaining game that features a lot of interesting things that other RE games did not have, but i completely understand why it was disappointing for many people, the game could've been better.

first half is amazing, it's honestly one of the only ACTUALLY scary RE games and the gameplay is fun and not boring at all, the story is great BUT i feel like adding the choice between zoe or mia was absolutely pointless and a poor writing choice considering that mia will always be the canon choice and the only one that makes sense + the second half of the game gets a little boring (mostly talking about the ship part) and it lets you down a little but it's still totally worth playing, second favorite RE game
