One of the best dungeon crawlers that I got obsessed with very quickly. What grabbed me was of course the art style and the eldritch horror theme.

-Art 5/5, has a very distinctive style that sets the tone + atmosphere of the whole game
-soundtrack - 5/5 - made me feel very afraid to enter a new dungeon, start a new battle or just feel relieved to set a campire as a small respite in between
- different character classes with each having a very distinctive play style
- adds a unique stress system management which could either be a plus or negative, for me it was a good challenge to get accustomed to
-the narrator voice is ~perfection~ for this game, still use some of the quotes he says every now and then lol
- Definitely play on steam for just for the simple reason of their modding community, which stretch from getting new characters skins all the way to full new dungeon maps/levels

-simple side scroller mystery horror that plays within the theme of loss and guilt.

-art style is very unique, I liked the different color schemes for certain levels + a CRT filter that was placed
- personally, not too scary, there is the occasional jump scare but nothing that made my heart stop
- a unique system that adds a camera as a tool to use for puzzles throughout the game
- no fighting monsters, more on mystery and solving puzzles
- the only negative i would give is there was one or two puzzles that got me stumped with no hints to solving it, where I wished the characters would give maybe a hint or indication on how to start the puzzle first
- shortish game, finished in 2.5 hours playtime

Based on the chinese tv show of the same name, a mystery side scroller where the truth is unraveled through the perspective of one of the child protagonists. Three children unintentionally film a murder scene, and become involved with the main suspect however the mystery seems to go deeper than anticipated.

-not too scary, the only part that really spooked me is the first few levels being inside the house where they mom did really jump scare me + one chase scene in 3rd or 4th level
-puzzles are okay, not too difficult to solve
- some english translations was lost but nothing that would not get you to understand or stop you from solving a puzzle

One of the few indie games that should have gotten more recognition but gained more of a cult following. Heavy dark themes of depression, loss and suicide.

-the only scary parts if your not able to handle blood, body horror or any of the mature themes above
-the art style reminded me of old 2000s pc games online but i started to grow closer to it the more i played
-soundtrack fits perfectly with the overall theme
-the voice actor for Susan Ashworth, Lynsey Frost, deserves an award, she really killed it
-one of those games that I thought about for a long time after finishing it
-my fav scene was when Minzy was having a heart to heart talk with Susan on her balcony, the reason why she came to Susan in the first place. her whole story broke my heart + was read out very well by the voice actors
- i wish i could get amnesia and replay this game all over again

what if your just a copy of your past self + you wake up 1000+ years in the future trapped with psycho robots?

-i finished the very last level with my sister + we both stared at each other once the credits rolled and said "ok..and what am I supposed to say after that?" 5/5
- i really didnt start to catch on to the big twist until it was too late, hands on my head screaming
- very spooky, did scare me a few times, did not like the heavy stealth parts of some of the levels
- one of the better psychological games that I still think about it every now and then

i had to watch my bf say yes to all the choices to join cthulhu despite my shock to his answers
-"i want to join the squid!"
-gameplay is a struggle, not scary at all, some of the voice acting is wonky

i should have played this on a better pc tbh but i pushed through
-plays on themes of ghosts + mental health ? (the game tries but i think they push it to the side + went down the route of ooooo scary mental patients, like what?)
- i didnt really care for the protagonist as much, maybe if i replayed it i would change my mind
-has a pretty interesting gameplay mechanic of splitting the screen when using your cool ghost powers
-the sneaking mechanic is horror in its own way

IM SCARED IM SCARED IM SCARED!!! HURRY!! THE XENOGIRLIE IS BREATHING ON MY FKIN NECK!!! CRAWL FASTER GIRL!!! HURRRYY UPPP!!! --average level in this game + i already died 3x times over

- too many times this game made me sweaty with panic + anxiety, i had to take a few breaks to catch my breath + relax to be greeted by the xenomorph in the very next room
-all sneaking, no real way to fight in way? like they give you a wrench + a flamethrower but thats wayyy later in the game, its better to just be sneaky ok?
- ive never watched any of the alien movies so i went in fully blind + after finishing this game first + finally watching the movies they really stay true to how the movie looked, made with lots of love from the developers
- oh and hey! hated having to relive a flashback into the MAIN HIVE OF WHERE THE XENOMORPHS ARE BIRTHED???? i almost pissed my pants thanks

I too, become obsessed of drawing the same character over + over again until i have a mental breakdown

-physiological horror of being a tortured artist
-not too scary, it did spook me a few times
-i do want to buy all the paintings this crazy guy did in the game tho

am i going crazy? or is everyone just going to ignore all the fcked up shit going on in this office space?

-a summary of what it feels like to work in a corporate office space
- i got to maybe one of the very last levels + took a break but never got back into it
- very good pixel art + pretty decent RPG

i actually felt bad for the main ghost girl tbh, once again, we can blame men for ruining everything good

-not too scary but it did jumpscare me a few times when i did play it with my sister next to me who cant handle horror at all smh
-i played on an emualtor + did use a walkthrough now + then to get through some of the puzzles
- wow there are some things that will end your gameplay early or insta kill you which is pretty accurate to if you were a 16 year old girl trying to escape a haunted school
-why is there so much body horror? crazy
-the ending is ambiguous but i want to believe everything is okay + everyone lives until 100 with no worries at all

they used my top horror of not being able to see anything in the dark + hearing voices that are not there --

-unfortunately i got way too scared + stressed of finding resources to live until the next night i stopped playing + watched a youtube video summarizing the whole story + gameplay
- the art style is very good + the top down view + the mechanic of only being able to see where you point your mouse really spooked me, the horror of seeing a monster run up to my character + not being able to do anything about it until it kills me :(
- i have never been so relieved to not live anywhere close to a dense forest + seeing morning sunlight
- another game that made me think about for a while after
-the story is very interesting + the ending does leave a bit more questions after

kids can be evil and cruel

-the story is A+ , the chapters are played out like a fake fairytale book that you have to finish or find the missing page
- your only real comfort is a cute dog that you can pet in the game! yayyy :)
- i felt incredibly bad for Jennifer and honestly, all the other orphan girls. they are evil little gremlins but damn the situations they were put in was only a result of that
- i was never really mad or upset at any of the kids, i just felt bad for everyone :( -- you can see why they are acting this way + treating Jennifer like a punching bag

-there are only 2 endings, both good + bad -- the good ending made me think maybe it was Jennifer getting therapy once shes grown up, and we are just playing it out in the game -- by reliving her memories for both the physical + mental abuse she endured in her childhood -- i want to believe this is why the whole game is like a jumbled mess of events that she is trying to remember // the bad ending is not really anything + the good ending is what the developers wanted to end the game as
-once again, adult men ruining everything good + being disgusting creatures ( there is implied child SA )

-the fighting mechanic pisssedd mee offfff wayyyy too much + honestly glad I payed on an emulator for the save states cuz no way I am playing this on the actual ps2 platform
-imagine your chara taking 5 full secs to get up + the enemy can hit your chara back down by the time you get up again + oh also if your health is low after a battle your chara starts limping on half the walking speed!!! you got to be joking, might as well reload your last save to save yourself time

POV of a failed screenwriter who forces his successful singer wife to quit her career so she can become a full time housewife instead + was easily manipulated into a cult to follow some jank ritual to save his daughter

-very spooky, well written + super sad ending :(
-one or two jumpscares got me but it was more of a slow burn kind of game
-got banned from steam b/c of winnie the pooh mention comparison of chinese communist Xi lol
- i literally wanted the father to fail + to be killed by his wife idc, he fckd up his whole family

played this with my bf but i had to stop b/c of how unforgiving some of the enemies that attack you in this game, like i stopped being scared + was more upset + mad b/c i have to redo a lvl 3x over just to cross a bridge

- the way i was excited to play this game when the trailer came out + 1 hour later i was so over it
-i cant even remember the plot b/c i was so mad at the game mechanics omg
-full of jumpscares, typical scary yokai monsters but you play as a 16 year old girl trying to find her sister/ friend ??
-i love my own sister but aint no way im trying to search for her alone in the middle of the night omg
