it's hard to really comment much on "Lisa: The First" when it's follow ups are much stronger as games both in terms of gameplay and narrative. But I still feel this game is at least important to it's structure overall and has a lot of elements that work well with it.

The three out of five only factors in the gameplay itself. I do think once you understand it's story (which isn't hard to do) you get a deeply disturbing realization that the character you're playing as is essentially stuck in an endless cycle of abuse that she can't escape from, which is chilling. I sorta wish the gameplay had a bit "more" to it is all.
