A fantastic sequel with improved gameplay mechanics and a more well rounded story that makes it interesting to see through the end with all the twists and turns. While I miss Sam Lake's face, I do love the new and improved graphics and I feel the game packs a bigger punch overall.

A masterclass of disturbing violence while nailing it's themes home to a near perfect experience. Some of the levels feel a bit more BS and I think it goes on a little long, but that ending is genuinely satisfying and there's so many moments that got under my skin that I wanted to experience more of what the game provided. I kinda hope this dev does more games at some point cause both this and the first are gonna live rent free in my head.

okay yeah, this game rules of course. A killer soundtrack with some of the most satisfying top down gameplay with some pretty brutal combat and manageable difficulty. It's themes are incredibly strong and the way the game incorporates it into the gameplay works, I think for the most part.

Some of the difficulty spikes can be a little annoying but it was manageable and I still had a very good time with the game.
