My least favorite of the trilogy because it was developing mechanics. It was a lot more high fantasy than 2 though and I appreciated that. But it lacked variety as the world's tended to be very much like the home world's from which they sources, but that also gave it continuity. But if you didn't like a home world, there was a lot to slog through.
