While some of it's gameplay ideas are interesting, Florence doesn't go farther than "alright" in most respects. The story is simple, but almost to a detrement - you don't exactly know why things happen or any of the characters. Really, this whole game is therapy for people struggling with recent breakups, allowing you to project your personal life situations on these people and their own struggles. And whether or not you need that in your life will determine what you think of Florence, and unfortunately - I don't.
