yeah it's jank but fuck me this is strangely fun? like the controls actually work decently well and it's satisfying to control Sonic, except when you have to go backwards tho thankfully that's never required beyond the tutorial.
the mission system is also not something I'm super fond of, I'd rather have more traditional levels than missions repeating in the same level design.
