Super Mario Land is an interesting game. It's only about half an hour long, and the physics of the game are a little weird for a Mario game, but it has so many great qualities about it. For one, the music is spectacular for a Game Boy game, and the levels are really tightly designed. The inclusion of Shmup sections is a little strange, but they work better than expected. Overall, it's a charming game that warrants spending the 30 minutes needed to beat it. Also, the invincibility theme is the Can-can, and I'm not sure why but honestly I'm not against it.
