May qualify as one of the first live-service mega-games that are much more common today. A dizzyingly large car list helps make this game feel almost daunting in scope, but the prevalence of vehicles ported directly from the PS2 iterations are not as well hidden as the game thinks it is, making the overall visual fidelity very uneven. The sheer diversity of races, cars, modes, and customization is here, but the game clearly lost something in the transition to 7th gen.
