The secret ingredient to make the best guacamole is... not trying to get the true ending

If you enjoyed the first Guacamelee then you should also like this one since it is pretty much more of the same. I didn't mind the fact that the games are very similar since I played them years apart.

However, I still have some gripes with the way the game is paced because you get interrupted too frequently by fighting sections which you cannot avoid.

Furthermore, in the late part of the game you can do six optional challenges in order to unlock the good/true ending. Those sections vary from slightly challenging to painfully annoying.

The last dungeon of the game also overstays its welcome and by the time the game ended I felt a little bit burnt out.

Overall the game is an enjoyable experience, despite not being surprising, but if you are not a fan of hardcore challenges I would advise against trying to reach the true ending.
