Potentially now my favorite way to play Resident Evil 4, and absolutely phenomenal as a VR game in its own right. Such a wonderful port and surprisingly really not at all motion sickness-inducing to me even on moderate or lower comfort settings unless I played for too long in a session without taking breaks, though I'd imagine the same would happen for any VR game after hours of continuous play.

Otherwise, for the most part it's straight up just Resident Evil 4. I wish Separate Ways was in this but it doesn't seem to be. Also kinda odd they removed the village sketches from the credits. Still, the main campaign was just as fun as it ever was yet with a novel added touch of first-person VR controls. The controls function incredibly intuitively for the most part, and while sometimes physically pushing buttons was annoying, it was never enough to feel like a major flaw. If anything it was just another part of how awesome the game's presentation was.

The main combat gameplay feels awesomely fluid and chaotic in a way the original never did, and while many of the design decisions in the original carry over in a way that makes VR easier via precision aim, not being able to see behind you is a surprisingly great natural balancing tool for it which only truly fails during boss fights. The inventory system with its "hotkeys" on Leon's person was an awesome touch to keep the game flow intense and rewarding for good reflexes and weapon expertise.

... Also bonus points for making the Del Lago shoot-the-lake cutscene first person, and for making dual wielding doable! Awesome attention to detail.
