This game seems to be considered the black sheep of the franchise by many and while I don't think it's an excellent game, it's definitely not as bad as people make it out to be. Music was great as always, controls were a bit stiff but nothing you can't get used to. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to continuing onto the more modern Ys games.
