I'm a pretty big Animal Crossing fan, but only for certain Animal Crossing games; Wild World made up a significant portion of my childhood and I still cherish the memories of playing with my sister and cousins. New Leaf managed to exceed my expectations and is by and large the best game in the series.

But City Folk and New Horizons couldn't achieve even a fraction of that kind of joy, and I'm not sure why. But whatever it is that makes only some of the Animal Crossing games special to me, Stardew gives me that same feeling. It's a really comfy experience that I admittedly haven't sunk too much time in, but luckily it's something I can always come back to. I like Leah :)
