Althought I have marked this as 'completed' i did not get the 'true' ending, I may come back to it one day but I had such an amazing time with the main game that I didn't want my love to sour. I feel like this review could very easily just be me describing the entire game and then going ''and that was fucking great" EXCEPT for the clock tower level with the flying medusa heads. The mood of the whole thing, the rhythm of the movement and the combat is so deliberate and every single hit you land feels special. one of the only other games to make me feel this way about combat is yes, you guessed it, Tears of the Kingdom. No, of course not, I'm not insane. It's Dark Souls, I was talking about Dark Souls.

I absolutely love moving between the different sections of the castle, they mostly feel incredibly distinct especially with their amazing soundtracks. The whole game feels ridiculously cool, but also very silly, and I love it wholeheartedly. I love this game so much that I want to play all of the other Castlevania games, but am hesitant to in case I don't love thme as much as this one. I'm going to fight that instinct because I love this so so so much and I'm going to play castelvania and then bloodstained thanks bye x
