I'd have more fun watching someone play this and doing voices than I did playing it myself. It's in no way a bad game but just silently clicking through text occasionally chuckling to myself doesn't quite ring right. But what drags it down as a game is how much of it's time is wasted in menus and the comical drama of parts (episode 3's poetry especially.) From the second episode on it becomes progressively more investigative in presentation and gameplay but I wish I could skip writing down everything about each individual character and then read it myself there's a lot of time spent on this one aspect for episodes 2&3 which could be significantly cut down for me personally, I'm already reading dialogue at my own pace so let me do the same for the notebook. I also found the audio for some tracks (which were all great tracks) to be extremely loud for whatever reason. It's funny charming and has a lot of silliness to it, it's also short so even though I wish I could go at it at my pace a 3 hour run time is still overall good for what it is.
