June 4th:
I saw an ad saying this game didn't have ads in it so I decided to give it a shot. The start was a little slow but the pacing eventually got better. Unfortunately if you don't want to take forever to get upgrades you will in fact need to watch "optional" ads. It's not technically false advertising cause it is always optional but the game is designed to be painfully slow if you don't watch em. For that reason I do think it was poorly designed on purpose. I do like the concept tho and it's mild mindless fun for a little bit.

June 11th:
I decided to give it a few more chances and honestly the "play a little bit at a time" approach made it a little better. There's some decent progression. It's just too slow paced in long play sessions. I almost considered raising the score by half a star but I think I'll leave it at where it's at.
