With nothing much left to beside the Troupe and Godhome, I figured it best to "finish" the game. My strength + quick slash charm loadout made fast work of the Hollow Knight, however, Radiance proved far tougher.
Took around 5-6 tries, I ended getting lucky with both where she spawned and the attack used, letting me safely hit her from under in the 3rd phase. Finally rid the infection from Hallownest, shame I couldn't save Myla and Cloth, but I suppose no cost is too great for saving the land. My in-game completion is timed at 33 hours, less then what I've recorded, perhaps time in menu's isn't counted for leniency while speedrunning.

Did Grimm's fetch quest with new born son, annoying you always have to spend two charm notches on them when challenging Grimm. I managed to beat his 1st form on the 3rd attempt by playing it safe; which I can already tell from my first try at NIGHTMARE KING GRIMM isn't going to work out. Maybe if I equip the shape of unn and heal during the bat phase.

Glad I bought the Lumafly Lantern earlier, Deepnest would've been a nightmare without it. Still, even after finding the exit from the pit trap, I jumped straight back in. That tense fall through darkness to be meet with the euphoric sight of a hot spring and bench was great. Sadly that bliss quickly evaporated when I got lured into Nosk's lair, and then had to continually fight them to get my geo back.

Biggest struggle was with the ceiling attack and not knowing when he was going to stop middle of room. This led me to taking damage when I went to pogo, which led to me falling on to acid and taking more damage (; o ;). I took to playing more defensively and hiding against the middle platform and only pogoing when it felt safe to do so. My damage was also fairly low due to only having upgraded the the nail once so I used the spore charm to get some extra damage in while cowering in the corner. With some persistence I achieve victory; gave an audible "Yes!" when I landed the last hit, haven't felt that in a game for awhile.

I explored upward as well, those enemies that reanimate after a bit gave me a light shock. Didn't feel prepared to venture deeper into the spiders nest, and decided to leave once I got the tram pass. I mistakenly saved Zote, ungrateful bastard was lucky I got lost.

That platforming challenge with the big worms was hell, still keep not holding the jump button long enough.

When I got to King's Station, my first thought was to go to the tram in Forgotten Crossroads. Honestly surprised that I could've come here and gotten the dream nail far sooner if I hadn't bitched out from that big scary hole in Crystal Caverns. This game will be interesting to replay in future with hindsight.

Kingdom Edge gets the prestige award for having the WORST enemies in the game. Hoppers aren't too bad providing you don't get caught in a pincer formation, but the aspids? fuck em; seriously on par with soul twisters and crystal hunters for being the most annoying enemy to fight. They'll hunt you down aggressively, but when going in for a strike, they move away and leave you vulnerable to get hit. Coliseum is pretty cool though, hitting Zote around like a volleyball was fun.

Went over to Lurien, and got my arse handed to me by the Watcher Knights, suspect I'll be here awhile.

The mantis lords are way overhyped, beat them on my 3rd try without any nail upgrades. Not saying it's a bad boss, it's quite fun, just rather easy once you get their pattern down.
