Messy Video Games That I Adore
The video games that I acknowledge aren't the best in some aspect, but I adore anyway.

Sonic Frontiers is pretty good overall, but man is it jank and definitely fell apart in my eyes by the end. I love it so much regardless though, it's considered a peak mid game for a reason and there's just too much to love about the game to feel disappointed by it, at least for me. Plus, I adore the final boss(The one you get on hard difficulty), a divisive final battle, which is literally one of my favorite parts of the game.
A bit of a mid Castlevania/Valis-esque game, that has such a eerie fever dream vibe, it's very hard for me not to love it.
The writing, specifically for the plot is not the best, the ending is soul-suckingly unearned and hollow, but Bayonetta 3 is one of the best games I've ever played.
The best portrayal of Sonic as a character, pretty much ever?
Unfinished and extremely charming, I wish we got the finished version.
That frame rate though, personally don't mind it lol.
I adore how this game is a complete trainwreck plotwise, and still manages to be one of the greatest experiences I had with a video game.
