Gamin for more than a decade now :p I play games now based on my enjoyment factor throughout the whole time rather than if I think the game is good. Below is how I rate games.
5 - A mastapiece! Made me feel some emotion that other games just don't give. Will talk very fondly about.
4 - Great game! Like wow! Worth the money and I would definitely play again, but there are some aspects that should be worked on to make the experience better.
3 - Enjoyable game! Games that feel sort of like content, but they give the mind-numbing fun to make it worth. I would play these usually once just to experience it or I think its a fun quick game.
2 - The game did not feel worth it. Pretty big jump, but to be below average requires you to maybe be early access or some messed up junk. Maybe it was a joke game and just that or the experience felt uninspired and bland.
1 - Bargain bin games. I think most games don't deserve this ranking unless the devs showed no love for the game. No experience or anything special :(
