It's hard to put into words how incredible this remake is. I played the original on Wii not long ago for the first time and even in 2023, that game still managed to impress. The complexity in it's mechanics were really cool. The fact that this remake managed to surprise me with its insane level of detail and mechanical complexity on top of everything present in the original is nothing short of astounding. They easily could've just added some melee to RE2/3's gameplay but they went far above and beyond with how everything interacts with your abilities. Much like the original, the developers thought outside the box with gameplay. It defies "video game" logic in very creative ways. This has absolutely dethroned RE2make as my favorite in the series, and is one of the best games I've ever played.
