Life Is Strange: Before The Storm was nothing alike its previous first entry that initially drew everyone onto it, I think what hurts the game more is being of it's own individual title rather than an add-on DLC for the original title, as I think this game, serving as a prequel, compliments the first title well enough. However though, it is marred with contrived and unlikable writing that in retrospect, disables Chloe Price as an truly remorsed, affable, beloved platonic "partner to the end of time" and romantic gay interest that she is most embraced for. I like to think of this game as a lot better than it actually is just for the sake of what I know it could've been with a proper writing team. It's not a game to really play and think too much on but as a game that exists to serve fan service in a way, I appreciate it does exist.
