Max Payne 3 came to me in a time where my life was good. The whole trilogy did in fact. Yet, this was the greatest gameplay experience I’ve ever had. Max feels old and weighed down hero-wise, the places you’re fighting in look authentically Max Payne, yet the realism brought in with new and greater graphics is extremely befitting to the game as a whole. In the end, I love this game and everything to do with it
I played Mass Effect 2 in mid-2020, not so coincidentally during the pandemic. This game came after me completing Mass Effect one, therefore, I was already a big fan. The whole story was great, conversations felt real and I loved each and every character. I played without DLC, so never got the chance to go back to Liara 😔, however the game was awesome. Also asari rule34 gotta be my favourite art sub genre.
I originally got Grand theft auto IV because my parents wouldn’t let me get V. This was 2016, I was 10 and that MA15+ looked a lot more favourable in comparison to an R18+. Years later, and with hundreds more hours in GTA V, this is still my favourite GTA. I’m aware of some members of the fan base thinking it’s limited and such, however, the open-world activities SA and V offer pale in comparison to GTA IV as a work. GTA IV is clunky, it’s overtly vulgar, it was almost inexplicable to my 10 year old mind. Yet it’s one of the greatest gaming experiences i’ve ever had.
