Boltgun doesn't try to do or be anything new, but it also doesn't have to. For a very fair price you get a tight and polished retro shooter with amazing art direction set in the 40k universe. Fans of the Warhammer universe can enjoy the power fantasy of being a (very strong) space marine and look at all the lore details and enemies from their beloved universe, whilst non-fans can still enjoy a solid and at times challenging game.
