This is more of an "essential playing" list than anything else. When I was making this I was thinking of what games I would recommend to someone who had never played a game before, but wanted to experience as many different types as possible. That means that I left out a lot of personal favorites of mine out because I thought a different game was a better example of the genre or series, or they just had too niche of an appeal. Yeah I'm totally cheating by putting some collections here to get around the 10 game limit.
