Alan Wake II is a brilliant metanarrative focused survival horror game. The only thing I did not love is some difficulty spikes that made it a bit frustrating but you can set the difficulty to a lower setting for those parts and set it back up again (which I recommend, as the "story" difficulty is a bit too easy usually and it really takes the danger out of most encounters). Other than that, I love every single thing about this game.

Remedy has truly done it again.
