Bio
Hello! I've loved video games my entire life, but for the past four years I have began collecting as a hobby and it has been really fun. I'm working towards collecting (and playing) every game imaginable, so I hope someone else would care to follow me on this journey. And do not worry, I am aware that this goal is unrealistic.

The consoles I own are:
PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4
Wii and Wii U
Nintendo Switch
Xbox Series X and Xbox One
GameCube
Nintendo 2DS

I also play games on Windows PC and on iOS.

Check me out on Serializd and AOTY if you want to see more of my review output. My handles on both are MrMeme, same profile and everything. Give em' a follow if you want. My Letterboxd is linked at the top of my profile.

That game everyone played for like a week and subsequently forgot about completely. I suppose it's a neat little time-waster for what it is, there is dumb fun to be had. But I dunno, there are many other games (Color Switch, Run, 2048) that do a way better job at scratching that kind of itch for me. Prolly won't play it again.

At some point I'll write a much longer review, but for now...

Holy crap what a giant improvement over the already fantastic BTD 5. I don't have the nostalgia factor with this game like I do with that game, so my score isn't influenced by distracting factors. Almost every issue with the last game is rectified here. For those who thought BTD 5 had a fairly unappealing art style and overall look (which I disagree with but whatever), you for sure won't be having that complaint with the sixth installment. This game is drop dead gorgeous, all the designs for the monkeys and heroes look stunning. Oh yeah, the heroes. They're not as integral to the gameplay formula as I thought going in, but nonetheless I love the variety and pretty much all of them are fun to use.

Rather than heroes, the gimmick of three upgrade paths and fifth tier towers (and paragons ig) are probably the most defining feature of this game. The strategy reaches far deeper than it did as you can only cross two crosspaths at a time. So not only do you have to choose what path to choose, but also what crosspath to choose. This is my favorite thing about BTD 6, and it honestly makes it hard to go back to any Bloons game.

Constant updates have come in the many years since its release six years ago, and they consistently deliver new and refreshing ways for the user to experience the world of BTD.

I haven't even talked about the map creation, user challenges, new modes, contested territory, all of that is also incredible. But I don't want to drag this review out for now, so I'll leave y'all by saying this game is really, really, really fun and you should absolutely play it if you have not already.

Sure, its pretty much just CoC with a Bloons skin.

But it manages to be really fun and enjoyable, so I honestly don't care lol
