This review contains spoilers
(I have only done my first playthrough at the time of writing)
Through the first 90% or so of Oneshot, if someone told me to write a review it probably would have been a joke one something along the lines of:
Cat ears ✅
Nightmare eyes ✅
Welcome back Mae Borowski
But then the end of the game hit me like a falling sun and forced me to make the hardest choice I’ve ever had to make in any game. Oneshot isn’t a perfect game but when it at its best it’s almost unmatched. Granted, I now know that a second playthrough seems to be needed to truly experience the game, so I’ll have to hold off on lauding it too heavily until I go in for round two.
