As a launching point for the franchise, it had some potential as the wonder of exploring cities like Damascus and Jerusalem is still unmatched and the modern aspect of the game was by far the best the series had. Unfortunately the actual game itself is kinda poopoo. Do you like meeting an informant every memory block? How about sitting on a bench to hear some people discussing stuff. It's all tedious to get to the actually interesting missions where you assassinate the targets. Overall, there's enough good to not make me bored shitless playing it but man the gameplay is not good.
