The DS game and Solo Remix are just better.
Plus Solo Remix is way cheaper.

A New Day is not worth the purchase, just watch the cutscenes on youtube.

The only good parts about this port are:
a) getting to play as the partners again in Co-op mode
b) the song remixes

The game is still ultimately a good one, so if this is the only way you can play this game, go for it!
