I suppose we are talking about the version included in the Metroid Prime Trilogy, right? I never heard of stand-alone ones, at least in Europe. Very weird and peculiar, I know at the times there were New Play Control versions for other games and stand-alone (Pikmin 1, Pikmin 2, DK Jungle Beat and Mario Power Tennis iirc).

Ok, Nintendo weirdness aside: I know omany people think playing FPS with Wii Mote and Nunchuck feels very immersive. Thanks to Metroid Prime on Wii I can see why, even if the proper native ones were all focused in MP3. Here it's mostly the pointing and pretty much few handy things to differentiate from the GC (and Remastered) version(s).

I'll probably say the similar things to MP2 since I played those games alright and know what I think of them. It's still an awesome way to enjoy a GameCube classic overall.
