Graphics:
The sound design is exceptional, the soundtrack especially is a perfect mix of metal and folk/traditional instruments. The whole ensemble is dynamizing and helps a lot to focus on the fights. The characters are fully voiced, each with thought and purpose put into their voice actors.
As for the graphics, the character designs are well-thought and interesting, full of course with mythological references. The world is vibrant, with deep shades and a lot of red colorimetry (depending of the zones, but it is the most prevalent one). The animations and vfx are sharp, the feedback is extremely satisfying especially with the amount of different effects given by the gods, that are easily distinctive despite the sheer amount of them. The UI as well is perfectly designed to be understandable and manageable, even with the motifs and decor it uses, which could be overcharged if it wasn't coherent.

Gameplay:
Hades is a very satisfying game to play despite it's difficulty. Everything is made to feel a sense of progress, which is often against the very nature of roguelike (or lite) games, but works perfectly for this title. Between the snippets of story, the effects, the upgrades... you rapidely get to a point where you feel almost invicible, and you get surprised by each death.

Story:
Zagreus is a rebellious, witty character in which a lot will relate to. The story explores a retelling of the greek myths of the Olympus' Gods, by the eyes of the son of Hades, Zagreus. As such it offers a new perspective on characters most of us know by name or by legend, but not quite so by their personality.

Replay Value:
Since it is a Roguelite, it is made to be replayable. Even after finishing the main storyline there is often much to explore.

Performance/Optimization:
Didn't encounter any bugs, and runs very well on my mobile gamer PC.

Pros:
Eveything that has to do with art
The lore
The feeling of ascension
The soundtrack
The satisfaction

Cons:
Might be a bit difficult first
No multiplayer

Final Thoughts:
My all-time favorite game, I would recommend it to everyone. If you enjoy greek myths, or a good story with well-thought characters, or just like to slash monsters to get to the top, play it !
