Top Tier NES game. Whipping enemies at other enemies made me smile. The mask chases and Birdo fights were tricky, but due to the buttery controls, they felt fair. I loved the bass-y sound effects for explosions or lifting something. This game established Toad as a meatball of pure muscle, who I used in most cases because I am impatient.
