Muchos recuerdan a este juego como uno de los mejores de la saga. Lamentablemente, no es así. Esta lleno de problemas, por ejemplo, las físicas son terribles, ya que al sentirse tan resbalosas, puedes caerte de un abismo sin querer, lo cual perjudica demasiado tu rendimiento en las carreras. Esto hace que directamente no puedas pasar alguna parte de la pista (por ejemplo, la segunda curva de rainbow road). Y la IA de los oponentes... esta diseñada exclusivamente para hacerte SUFRIR. No miento cuando digo que siempre te van a pegar para atrás, solo si tienes suficiente suerte puedes esquivarlos. Si "a lo mejor solo eres malo-" NO.
Llevo jugando esta cosa por 3 años y nada de problemas de habilidad. El juego tiene físicas horribles y PUNTO. Ni siquiera debería ser considerado de los mejores. Hasta 64 se sentía mas cómodo que esta cosa.
