Imo you probably shouldn't have platinumed a game you don't enjoy. It's possible that fully completing a game could allow you to appreciate aspects of it you didn't before, but I think giving the game some distance and coming back to it later is better for that. I have a tendency to just abandon games I don't enjoy which saves a lot of time, though I obviously miss out on lots of great things in games only because something earlier in said games turned me off. This is a long-winded way of saying that pushing yourself to play this much of a game you don't like isn't a very good idea.
