The gameplay is incredible, one of the most consistently fun fps I've ever played, tons of replayability. Improving your times in its bite-sized levels just for the sake of it is extremely fun and satisfying. Although the story isn't anything groundbreaking, the characters are fun and all come off as loveable losers instead of the cool edgelords they want to appear as. The writing/voice acting is reminiscent of cheesy late 2000s anime (which I think is both awful and genius at the same time)
