A decent start to the Uncharted franchise. The writing, characters, set pieces, and sense of adventure are all top notch. I enjoyed the story overall but I felt that the "twist" towards the end of the game was a misstep and felt a bit generic. My biggest frustration, and the part that felt the most dated, was how the gunfights felt like big open arenas where enemies spawned seemingly out of nowhere, attacking in constant waves. Otherwise, I enjoyed my time and am excited to see the rest of the series unfold.
For a game primarily designed to showcase the new PS5 DualSense, the developers went above and beyond to make something special.
With well-designed levels, a fantastic soundtrack, highly enjoyable gameplay, endless nods to PlayStation history, and more content than you'd expect from a free, pre-installed hardware demo, this game exceeds expectations.
I am incredibly hyped for Astro Bot now and will absolutely be playing it on day one.

A solid puzzle game that is actually pretty fun to play in short bursts.
With 100 levels to solve it offers a surprising amount of content, especially for a game released in 1985. The core gameplay loop of strategically breaking walls to complete the level is simple to grasp but gets super challenging (almost to the point of impossible), especially in the later levels.
Overall, I had a decent time with this and could see myself trying to knock out a few more levels when I'm bored.
