My favourite in the series so far and the first time Supermassive Games lived up to the legacy they started with Until Dawn

This game had so much promise but is ultimately brought down by lack of variety and content. Car variety is awful, no tuning, and the inclusion of people shooting at you while racing brought my enjoyment down. That being said this game included some of the most thrilling moments I have ever had in a Need for Speed game and the highest highs (The entire snow region from start to finish was 10/10). The tracks are gorgeous and fun. Best looking scenery in the series. The sense of speed is such an improvement from most titles and weaving through the traffic just gets your heart pumping. If there just were more types of racing and just shit to do this would have been one of my favourites but I just have too many nitpicks to have a positive mindset looking back at this game.

It can be really exciting and fun to play at times with a group of people but in the end the thrills are a bit to far in between.

After a row of weak entries Hot Pursuit manages to recapture the fun that Need for Speed used to possess.

What the actual fuck was this.

Gameplay is getting quite similar to the Call of Duty we know now and I really appreciate the change although I feel like the overall mission structure took a big hit coming from United Offensive. "Take a town, defend a town" loop got tiresome after a while even though there were some nice setpieces.

Scored only based on Single-Player

This is essentially the first game but with missions that are all completely thrilling from start to end. It feels much more like being in the middle of a conflict and was very enjoyable. It also fixed some of the difficulty issues I encountered in the first game where a lot of the foes would instantly target only the player. This made a pretty decent difference in overall enjoyment for me even though the core of the game is still the same.

This is only rating the Campaign for now.

Call of Duty plays and feels like a slightly enhanced version of Allied Assault. The setpieces are awesome and finally being able to aim down the sight is a godsend. However, a lot of these improvements are made hollow by the health system feeling dated and the enemy AI being particularly laser sighted. It just felt unfair a lot of the time.

At the moment I am only rating the Campaign segment.

Truly cemented the downfall of the MoH series. The fact that this unpolished turd came out the same year as Modern Warfare is crazy to me.

I actually think this is a really fun game in many aspects but I will say that the PvE is so damn boring that it brings down my enjoyment a lot. It feels like after around 40+ hours you have seen it all. Now I will say that I really enjoyed those first hours but ultimately there just isn't enough meat on the bone. It was still very cool to see the territorial aspect and I love the gathering/economy. I might revisit this in a few years to see how it has evolved.

The best way to describe this game is to essentially take Mario Kart and remove the powerups, memorable characters, and well-designed levels. The only thing Hotshot Racing has going on for it is that the driving model itself is okay and the simplistic look fits.

This game is very fun to play with friends, but the number of bugs and the shoddy UI in general really bring it down.

Without a doubt one of the absolute most unfinished games I have ever seen. Everything about it is horrible and it should have never been released.
