I didn't spend enough time in this game to really get the full experience, but I did play enough to realise that the gameplay loop wasn't quite what I was looking for. It seemed to lack the creative element for me. A lot of city builders feel good, like you're creating a living entity, but Terra Nil just felt like I was placing items to cover the map. There were puzzles to be solved, but that became the goal rather than creating something. I'd have kept it if it had been under a fiver, but at the asking price I didn't think I'd get enough out of it.
