Back again with a new Pokémon game for the switch, I think this game truly delivers on the concept of a full open world Pokémon game, It can feel slightly barebones at times but overall the open world aspect of It Is fantastic, running around this giant open world plane and catching Pokémon and battling Is as fun as I had hoped, the story Is pretty barebones as well, until we get to the latter half of the story which Is when things get a lil crazy, but I loved a lot of the characters, edgy daddy/mommy issue kid, spunky tomboy rival, emo veevee team star chick, all of them are fun to watch and them at the end coming together and seeing them interact Is a fun time, and that last reveal, that the professor has been dead this whole time, Is one HELL of a twist, really packs a punch I don't think many Pokémon story's have had, and the new mons! A really good line up I love a lot, there's a couple I don't like, but I think overall really cool, and the paradox Pokémon, there interesting, I like the past ones more then the future ones, though I don't know how I feel about the lore implications of them (though there story hasn't been resolved so Its to early to say) I do wish we maybe got different past eras, like a medieval Pokémon and a bronze age Pokémon and such, and that future weren't all just robots, but overall enjoy there designs, I do also wish that this game kept some of the quality of life features legends arceus had but I do get that these games were probably In development at the same time so maybe In the future we'll see that happen, but overall a fantastic game that really feels like Its dragging Pokémon finally Into the modern age :3

Now this Is what I want for Pokémon game on the switch, a fun new look into the origins of the Sinnoh region and the Pokémon world as a whole, you get to explore iconic locations decontextualized Into a Feudal Japan-esk Pokémon world, hucking balls at Pokémon Is as fun as It sounds while catching almost everything and everything you can see, this game makes completing the pokedex incredibly fun and that's not even to mention a new way the battle system works, no longer Is It definitively a turn based combat, the turns of Pokémon can change throughout the battle which makes Pokémon battling way more dynamic and interesting, and the new past forms are all really fun, personally really attached to sneasels new design and the new evo sneasler, and that's not to mention the plethora of quality of life updates the Pokémon games have been NEEDING for a long while and the story the story Is pretty solid for a Pokémon game and leads to a very challenging secret final boss whos an incredibly stressful and harrowing battle, overall this game has Its faults such as It not looking AS good as some switch games, but overall had a VERY good time with It and will be coming back to It years to come :3

Pokémon shining pearl Is a decently harmless retrack of the original Pokémon pearl game almost completely unchanged, meaning Is also inherits a lot of the common complaints about the diamond and pearl games, I do wish we got a more interesting look back on the Sinnoh region similar to ORAS but for game that's not trying to be anything new Its overall harmless, I enjoyed the time I had with It and having Pokémon follow you Is a fast way Into my heart If you want an excuse to play through diamond and pearl this Isn't a bad idea to go and pick this up :3
