Ragnarok is pretty close to perfect. The story is by far its best aspect, offering a great continuation to the 2018 game that scales the stakes while still having amazing themes and perfect emotional arcs for its main characters. Speaking of characters, everyone from the previous entry is improved, from Atreus being more sympathetic to Kratos becoming even better than before, he is now easily my favorite videogame character.
Story aside, the gameplay is also great. Most of it is pretty similar to its predecessor, but it keeps itself fresh by adding new stuff that I won't be spoiling, but trust me they're great. Enemy variety is still a noticeable problem, but something that improves a lot are the bosses, my favorite being N*g and H**l.
As for problems, I feel like some plot points are barely explored (you know, something that is broken in the end), some characters could have a bit more screentime and the ending, despite being incredible and cathartic, falls a bit short if you expect something groundbreaking. Despite all of that, this is an easy 10/10 and as of right now my favorite game of the franchise.
