This series keeps making me fall in love with it. Yakuza 4 introduces four playable characters, which may sound like a lot but it's all pretty well done. Giving each of them four chapters and their own fighting style makes them all pretty fun without feeling like they're overstaying their welcome, and it also helps that the four are amazingly written. The story is not really the main focus, as the game is more of an introduction and character study of these guys, but even then it's pretty serviceable, even if it is complex as hell, but at this point that's just a staple of the franchise. Last thing I want to point out is that the finale is probably the best one out of all the Yakuza games I've played, I mean four fucking final battles? That's just awesome. So yeah, it may be a controversial opinion, but as of right now this is my second favorite game of the franchise, only behind Yakuza 0.
