Final Fantasy 7 is THE game. This is trash by comparison BUT it had its ups and downs. Nomura and Nojima are probably the worst pair of writers in existence right now as the dialogues and the overall narrative is, sadly, garbage. All that was taken from the original is the only light in this tunnel of shit called "remake", while all that has been added is simply cringe and boring. The game is fun, especially the combat system. Maps and sidequests are a pain in the ass, minigames are decent and the art direction (aside from stupid characters like Leslie and the bike guy) is very impressive, especially the enviroment. Overall enjoyable for the combat gameplay, but just that really.
