"MW2" takes a lot of chances with the COD formula. Structurally creating a game full of set pieces one after another. All of them are not necessarily the typical gun down NPC's affair, in this entry every mission has a clear objective and goal with characters that are given a lot of depth as to keep the player knowing what they are fighting against and what you are working toward. It's a COD that seeks to break the formula of past entries and I suspect it'll either be a love it or hate it game for most people. I for one was here for it. While there were times I felt pulled away from the action maybe unnecessarily, I was so involved in this games story and characters and how it flipped things from the original MW trilogy that I never was uninterested and its somewhat hand-holding nature seemed to always pay off with moments that I'm still thinking about. It also looks, performs and plays phenomenally as well. I won't review the mulitplayer, as I am slightly removed from that side of the COD franchise enough to maybe not be in the know, but as far as campaigns go, this was a load for fun for me and I eagerly look forward to the third and final entry in this reboot franchise.
