The cutting insights this offers were likely more revelatory and refreshing 8 years ago, when game dev processes and dysfunction were more opaque to everyone who didn’t work in the industry. It’s still entertaining and well observed now, but missing some impact when experienced after the subsequent 8 years of Jason Schreier articles and docs by Two Player and NoClip and People Make Games and other similar journalism efforts after this game came out. Still a short, worthwhile time though!
