Well, I regained a friend but lost another. I seem to be getting towards the end. The last few requests have required about as much as the whole game up to that point--though there is the suggestion that this is kind of a joke at the expense of the player.
The premise of this game is that you are Sumio Kondo, a searcher, hired to find a bomb on an airplane on Lospass island. But isn't that kind of nonsensical? We already know where the bomb is: on an airplane, on this island. I have to imagine this will be interrogated more, as the "real" reason I came is revealed. Ah, well. Onward and upward.

It seems that the other shoe has dropped, though who knows how many feet this game'll have. The night of the crescent moon did signal a change in the story, but i didn't expect it to take this route. We finally have links to The Silver Case that are a little more explicit.
After completing a day's events, the game prompts you to either continue or take a break. I wonder if it is meant to be more spaced out than I am playing it, if each break ought to be given a days time and reflection. People often neglect the fact that the time spent in between play sessions of a game have just as much impact as the time playing it. It aerates things, lets them breath more. Not always appropriate, but it can be nice.

There is a very laid back feeling. Love the ubiquitous Gymnopedie seemingly broadcast throughout the hotel. Visuals and animations are pretty goofy but not without their charm. Is this the Sumio I know? When will he notice the time loop? Could that chick really just fly? I'm assuming I'll figure this out as I go along, as the puzzles are easy enough to solve. Looking forward to it.
