I do like the alternate ending a lot more than the base game ending but good god, it was not worth it for the insane difficulty spike it pushed with the final island. While the platforming challenges and new cyberspace levels are fun, stuff like the Koco trials are just painful to play through. Especially the final trial which made me reconsider my liking for this game
